what is your career opportunities for economics??why?
A lot. It depends on what you want to focus on. I have an advanced degree in Economics and my classmates and friends went to various types of organizations:
- Brand management at Procter and Gamble and other big manufacturing companies
- Work for multilateral organizations such as World Bank, United Nations Development Program, Asian Development Bank and others
- Business journalists writing for top business news organizations
- Research work for think tanks and economic consulting companies
- Analyst work for the government
- Teach in universities
Others went on to get law degrees
It all depends on what you want in life, and what career you want to pursue
