Can you become a beta tester for video games if your 13? i want to be part of beta testing so i can have experience in the gaming Field so i can possibly have a related career, buuuut im only 13, would you need a workers permit to get paid, because i wat to work for free for a while. Also, can you get beta discs through mail?

It depends what beta testing program you are in, most beta testing games are downloaded online, therefore no disc is required, you are not paid to be a beta tester as there are many not for profit beta testers available online. Your age shouldn’t be a problem as long as the game you are applying to beta test meets your age restriction. References :

No I don’t think you can get beta discs by email or mail. You need to get at the company physically. Plus, I think they only take older people, but I’m not sure.
That won’t give you a related career to videogame creation. If you want to do level design, animation or modeling I suggest you to install Source SDK (comes free when you buy Half-Life 2, the orange box, team fortress 2, portal, etc.) and XSI SoftImage ModTool 7.5 (free).
It’s better to start trying to make videogames, as playing them isn’t part of the job you’d be doing.
I just started experiencing with Source SDK and I can say it’s a great way to learn level design. It’s not easy but it’s understandable and there are so many tutorials on the internet to help you, I can promise you you’ll be amazed. Video tutorials, step by step text tutorial and way more. Lots of them are found on youtube (video ones).
But I know you already know about Source. Just wanted to answer like I would answer to a beginner. By the way, how’s modding going? References :
